I've been playing guitar for 28 years, and I've worked on and modified a bunch of guitars, but I've only really built 4 kits. (I've been watching Ben's channel for at least 7 years, but I know that's not as long as many others). I really enjoyed the content that this contest brought in 2020, and hopefully I can make something that others will enjoy watching (and looking at). I'll be building a Firebird kit, but with a carve that came from looking at another firebird and mistakenly thinking I saw something. Since it wasn't what I saw, I thought to myself, "I should do that - it looks cool."

I've never done any sort of body-customization, so this will be a fun new experience for me (and could be fun to watch me mess it up)! I'm planning on spray painting it with cans in a lagoon blue to hunter green to black on the edges burst (and this will be my first burst finish). Electronics will be stock mini-humbuckers (for now), but I'll be outfitting it with push-pull pots for split coil options in the future (the stock ones don't have the proper leads).
